The tank is in service. A few punch list items will be completed in the Spring. The demolition of the old tank will be performed in January 2011. The $3.085 will be completed as scheduled and just under the bid price. We would like to thank all residents and especially our abutting neighbors for their patience and apologize for the inconvenience of the project. We were successful in obtaining financing through the American Response & Recovery Act (ARRA) funding. A 2% interest loan with 20% principal forgiveness saved an estimated $663,000. The geographic marker and symbol of community pride will provide decades of reliable service to our twelve thousand service connections.
